Erick Hernandez born on August 17, 1987, in the Bronx. As a child, he grew up watching and enjoying cartoons and doodling on the walls as a small child. As he grew older his first comic book was the death of Superman which paved the way for him to create his own stories and draw them as well. He attended and graduated from the School of visual arts with a bachelor's for cartooning. It was during those years he met Ian Miller and together decided after graduation to work on their small company entitled triplethreatcomics where Erick also began to work on his independent comic book called Soul Eraser. Erick’s art is inspired and influenced by the 90s style of comic art which includes artists such as Bernie Wrightson, Greg capullo, Todd McFarlane, Jim Lee, and Michale golden. Erick mostly focuses on writing and penciling his stories and is a very passionate and dedicated indie comic book artist.
